Christine C. Pruitt
Christine is a published writer and Savannah artist. She was published in Savannah Dogs, first edition, Savannah Magazine, Savannah’s Best Red Guide and also written and illustrated a children’s story about her pet turtle Fuzz. In 2002, Pruitt, then a sales executive for Savannah Magazine, dabbled in arts and crafts. She decided to trade in her business suits for beach casual and open an art boutique on Tybee Island called, Peaseblossum, aptly named for a fairy in Shakespeare’s A Mid Summer’s Night Dream. As demand for her work increased, she sold the shop in 2005 to begin working from her home studio on Whitemarsh Island. Now her art is represented in stores in Savannah, Tybee, Hilton Head, Bluffton, and Garden City. An avid nature lover, wife, and mother of a two year old angel, her work exudes a feeling of warmth, happiness and sometimes a little naughtiness
