Judy Trout is an artist and a writer who interprets her experiences in the world around her through photography, watercolor, poetry, and other medium. Coastal Georgia has always been a special place for Judy. Her first experiences with Tybee Island were as a child when she visited Savannah Beach with her parents. The unique nature of Tybee and the artist’s love of the ocean and island life drew her back through the years. As a mother, Judy shared her love of the area with her three boys, frequently bringing them to visit Tybee, Historic Savannah, and Fort Pulaski. Judy spent most of her life in Vidalia, Georgia where she grew up and later raised her family. She taught in the Toombs County School System for twenty years, often incorporating art in the classroom. After retiring, she moved to Tybee Island where she lives with her husband Ed.
